Series VIII. Publications -- (1938) 1949-1995. One-half box each is devoted to materials related to three books written or co-written by Simon. A 1945 typescript of Administrative Behavior is collected here. Models of My Life source materials include correspondence, depositions, proposals, published articles. The original manuscript is also contained here. Human Problem Solving materials comprise drafts, notes, and comments by Simon and Allen Newell.

Three boxes contain published papers and reprints of papers written or co-written by Simon, together with folders of letters granting permission to reprint.

Another three boxes contain technical reports written or co-written by Simon, together with technical reports by other authors. Folders in these boxes frequently contain technical report drafts, notes, and correspondence.

One-half box contains correspondence with the publishing companies Prentice-Hall and Macmillan. The series occupies 15 boxes (15.5 cu. ft.).
